Radiographic and Surgical Template Fabrication

A vacuform template is made of the diagnostic wax-up (1mm) material. The template is trimmed at the gingival margin of the proposed implant restorations.

Using the 2.2mm twist drill or a 3/32nd drill, prepare into the cast through the vacuform template. The angulation used through the template into the stone cast is determined from the planning process. Through the incisal edge for cemented restorations and through the cingulum for screw-retained. Place the 16mm rods into the sites and confirm positions.
