With the rods in place, a 1mm template
material is vacu-formed over the cast. Using curved scissors,
the material is trimmed to allow for easy placement and removal
from the patients mouth. The 16mm rods are then replaced with
10mm ones. Confirm the fit in the patient's mouth and perform
the chosen radiographic procedure.
